Friends are worth dying for

Zana's friend scares me.

But reading about her friend reminded me how good it is to have good friends. The ultimate standard by which you can measure your friends is whether you would die for them and they for you.
Greater love has no man than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.
~John 15:13
It's 4 am, I'm reading about how Microsoft accidentally destroyed Encyclopedia Britannica, and I'm getting sentimental. I can't remember all of the promises I've made sitting on curbsides at 4 am, chats that changed my paradigm of thought at 4 am, challenges I've issued and received at 4 am, dreams I've discussed at 4 am, trials I've shared at 4 am, failures I've experienced at 4 am, battles I've fought at 4 am, and epiphanies I've realized at 4 am. All to, with, from, by, through, and because of friends. But I have come to realize one thing. A lot of strange things can happen to the human mind at 4 am.

And dang, Locke, my kid will learn calculus before yours even hits graphing equations, you'll see. ;)

Oh yeah, and the crew still needs to make that movie.
